Washington: It is a sight probably not seen too often at the White House

U.S President George W Bush jogs with Iraq war double-amputee, U.S Army soldier Sgt Christian Bagge, along a path on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington.

The 24-year-old, of Eugene, Oregon, was among 10 Oregon National Guard soldiers injured by two roadside bombs in Iraq in June last year. Bagge and his comrades were on a road clearing mission near Kirkuk when an improvised bomb exploded under the first vehicle of a three-vehicle convoy.

As the other two Humvees lined up to help, a second bomb exploded, damaging the third rig. The explosions reportedly lifted the armoured Humvees of Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion, 116th Cavalry off the ground.
